What is an OTM?

An OTM, or “Of-The-Month,” is an award written by students and/or staff members to recognize a person/group or program/event for outstanding service and leadership in the residence halls.

When should I write an OTM?

Anytime you want to recognize someone for what they do in the residence halls! You can nominate a hard-working resident or stakeholder, or recognize a program/event that went really well! You can make an OTM for any occasion to show how great our campus is and award those who deserve it!

What do I write an OTM about?

There’s a whole list of categories you can use to help you decide what OTMs to write! You can write about a program (Program Category) or a person/group (General Category). Look below to see all the different options to choose from.

So… How Do I Do It?

Follow these 5 Easy Steps:

1. Log on to http://otms.nrhh.org.
2. If you don’t already have an account, create one using the “Create Account” link on the mid-left side of the page.
3. If you don’t want to create an account, click either “General Category” or “Program Category” under Submit OTMS on the top left side of the page. Use the category list below to decide which you need.
4. Fill out your information under the “nominator” side of the page. Then fill out the information for the person, group, or event you are nominating on the “nominee” side of the page.
5. Fill in the boxes below that with the details of the person, group, or event and why they should be awarded. Then click submit! Easy as that!
